I just found this story, and I'm completely stunned. I'll have more to say later today.
In the meantime, post your thoughts in the comments.
Setting aside whether or not this is a good use of taxpayer money --- is it even feasible?
Interestingly enough, I was close to buying it as well.

Well, it makes as much sense as the auto bailout you supported last fall.

Aw, go put a new coat of yellow paint on your french fries, Frank.

Jason, you naughty boy! You really had me going! I was there last night, and the doom and gloom in that place was creepy. I was shocked to see Old Navy gone. Oh well, Que Sera!

And the dateline of 4/1/09 has nothing to do with this, right?

Good one…the graphics are very good, you have a career in phishing if you’d like to break the law. You even have the redirect to “tinyurl.com” so when I moused over the link I didn’t get the actual URL of the link, on the tube city site. I love the side stories. Almost as good as my wife putting a rubber band on the dish sprayer this morning in the kitchen sink. I turned on the water half asleep and got a shirt full of water. I love her so it’s OK :>).

And that’s how it’s done, CSB.
Now, pardon me while I do my nerd dance.

Hilarious. Excellent composition. The peripherals had me laughing harder than the “article”!

Jason,
I am going on zero sleep and am glad I read the earlier comments before posting. You got me.
When you least expect it…
See you at tonight’s meeting.

Great job. I’d like to read some of those side stories!

You are so baaaaaaddddd!

As amusing as the article is the ads and ancillary information is even funnier. “Braddock: not a house, the whole damn town, $450.”

Nicely done. I agree with the other posters who noted how hilarious the peripherals were.
