Tried to catch the over-air programming, even driving through the park on the way to a meeting Wednesday night. It seemed to be fighting to get over the Turnpike station that was coming in clear as a bell on E. Fifth Avenue and the West Virginia Public Radio station that seemed more interfered with. I heard similar results Thursday night. Hats off nonetheless to a true example of meeting the “public interest, convenience and necessity.”

Thanks for the kind words. The coverage on 1640 AM was pretty poor, but the coverage on 88.9 FM hit most of Renzie Park, from the rose garden over to Lake Emilie, and as far east as Founders’ Hall Middle School.
I suspect most of our listeners were online —- we logged well over 125 different listeners during the three-day event. Many of them appeared to be listening on iPhones or other handheld devices.
