McKeesport police and fire departments released their activity reports for May.
In May, city firefighters responded to 78 calls, including 16 fires, 19 rescue or medical calls, 13 reports of hazardous conditions, three service calls, and 20 false alarms. Total estimated losses in fires were $63,000.
In May, city police made 223 arrests, issued 77 traffic citations, tagged 19 abandoned vehicles and towed two. Officers issued 337 parking tickets.
Police investigated six robberies, 12 burglaries, seven thefts, 29 criminal mischief (vandalism) complaints, five stolen cars, 16 assaults, 11 harassment complaints, 17 missing person complaints, 10 fraud complaints and three possible sex offenses.
