Briefly Noted: MLT Offers 'Murder Among Friends'
Category: Announcements || By Submitted Report
Bob Barry's 1976 comedy-thriller "Murder Among Friends" continues this weekend at McKeesport Little Theater.
A vain, aging actor is the intended victim of a murder plot by his wife and agent. They plan to cover their tracks by staging a robbery of the couple's elegant New York City townhouse on New Year's Eve.
There's a murder, all right, but it's not the one that the actor's wife planned. It gets even more complicated, because the actor's wife doesn't know that her husband is also having an affair with the agent, and they have their own plan to kill off the actor's wife and live off of her inheritance.
Showtimes are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, through Nov. 18.
McKeesport Little Theater is located at 1614 Coursin St., near the Carnegie Library of McKeesport. For more information, call (412) 673-1100 or visit the MLT's website.
