Members of the Mayor's Select Committee on Crime and Violence will kick off the new "McKeesport Message" campaign with a rally at City Hall, corner Fifth Avenue and Sinclair Street, at 4 p.m. this Wednesday. The campaign's aim is to encourage the entire community to focus on positive values, with a new theme every three months.
The theme for the first quarter of the year is "Respect."
Shown are Jo Ellen Kenney, executive director of the Carnegie Library of McKeesport; the Rev. Earlene Coleman, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church; and Rev. Darrell Knopp, pastor emeritus of McKeesport Presbyterian Church. (
