Carnegie Library of McKeesport offers afterschool activities for school-age children every second Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.
A spokesperson said next week's activity (Sept. 11) will be making no-bake cookies and a library scavenger hunt. Parents or guardians should register with the library no later than Sept. 9, so that the library will have enough supplies.
The recipe includes peanut butter, and if your child has a peanut allergy, please alert the library in advance.
Registration is done online at EventKeeper.com. The event will be held in the children's department at the main library, 1507 Library Ave. For more information, call (412) 672-0625.
