I’m not Kaboly, Kristen or Mayor Brewster and Pat Monroe has forgot more about football than I ever will. But….
I am personal friends with the Big Shun and sorry to admit that I do know city electrician Tom Rosso.
I believe that McKeesport’s Conference schedule has prepared them for a run. Also, you can’t coach speed.
Smitty & his staff will have the boys ready. They are peaking at the right time as usual.

On a grassy hillside
Spacious wide to see
Stands our alma mater
We will sing to thee!
Norwin High forever
We will strive to be
Always faithful, loyal
Norwin dear to thee
With our colours bright
Our banner gleams so true
Making hearts beat right for
Our Norwin gold and blue!
GO KNIGHTS!

Jason,
I’m amazed at the reach of your publication, reaching all the way out to North Huntingdon…. Are you trying to be the next Daily News or what?
I’m glad the previous poster can remember the Knight’s Alma Mater… Probably all they’ll want to remember after the thrashing their Knights take tonight….
My upset special for the night is B.P. over Central. The South was easily the toughest conference this year, top to bottom. Reminds meof the year the Tiger’s finished 3rd or 4th in the Conference and advanced to the WPIAL Championship, led by Cecil the Deisel against Stevie Breaston’s Wolverines.
If Cecil doesn’t break four ribs on the last play of the first half, I think the Tiger’s win that one too. I’m still crying in my Iron City over that one.
Peace. Out.

For those not able to make it to the game, Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh will be broadcasting the game live tonight.

Norwin has nothing to be ashamed of. Best Norwin team I’ve seen.
How ‘bout dem TIGERS!

It was bittersweet being here in Youngstown, OH and having the opportunity to watch the game. I was bummed to see McKeesport take it, although they did have the better game.
I am also impressed that Schultz can remember the song. I only can remember the first verse.
Back in the early ’80’s the football team at Norwin took a backseat to the Band, a little twisted by most school standards. I am glad to see that the Football program is going well back at home.
